Friends Landing is an adult day program located at 185 Ontario Street in Milton, operated by the Region of Halton. We provide a safe, supportive environment for older adults with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia. Our program offers social, recreational, and wellness activities, along with nutritious meals and personal care services. Friends Landing helps clients maintain independence while offering caregivers reliable respite and peace of mind.

Three courtyards available for outdoor walks when the weather is nice.
Behavioural Support
Personalized strategies and staff support to assist clients who have complex behavioural health need(s) and their care partners
Secured Location
Safety for participants is paramount - this location monitors the entry and exit of all clients.
Wheelchair Accessible
Fully accessible environment with barrier-free entrances and interior spaces.
Medication Support
Safe assistance with daily prescription medications.
Special Meals
Meals tailored to meet individual dietary or medical needs.
Language Support
Support for multiple languages through diverse staffing and the use of language tools and technology.
Programming Features
Music Therapy
Music therapy is available at this location twice a week.
Cognitive Activites
Entertaining activities that encourage thinking and memory.
Exercise Programming
A variety of exercise programs, including walks around the room and outdoor courtyards, are offered. Trained physiotherapists and kinesiologists lead classes twice a week.
Pet Therapy
Pet therapy is available once a week to provide mental stimulation and comfort to participants. Guinea pigs are also on location!
Physical Games
Fun games that exercise a range of motion and coordination.
Fun & Games
Popular games are facilitated to allow for entertainment and social interactions.
